For ITI Apprentices – 15 to 24 years

For Non-ITI Apprentices  – 15 to 22 years

(Age Relaxation – SC/ST – 5 years; OBC – 3 years)

Vacancy Details

Post Name: Apprentice

Number of Vacancies: 374 Posts (ITI – 300 / Non-ITI – 74)

Rate of Stipend:  As per Railway Board’s instructions issued from time to time.

Educational Qualification: 

• For Non ITI:  10th class or equivalent examination (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks from Govt. approved Board.

• For ITI: Candidates must passed 10th class or equivalent examination (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks from Govt. approved Board and also possess ITI pass certificate (for ITI Apprentices only) in related trade issued by recognized Industrial Training Institute affiliated to NCVT.

How to Apply: Intending candidates, fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility criteria, may apply online through the official website:  https://blw.indianrailways.gov.in/ from 26-03-2022 to 26-04-2021. The Online portal will be deactivated after stipulated date.

Selection Procedure: The selection will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.
